Purpose of this Privacy Policy:
This privacy policy aims to inform our users about the data we collect and how it is used.
Data We Collect:
When a user is connected to an overload alert device, the MGW Tracker, KiloGo, and KiloGo-for-Renault applications automatically receive load information to display it to you.
They also display the MAC address of the weighing device.
These data are not collected by MultitecInnovation.
To enable the application to access the user’s smartphone location data, permission must be granted upon the first launch of the application, and retrieval must be activated via a button on the weighing page or in the settings menu.
Local Data Storage on Smartphone:
Users can save records of the vehicle’s load status locally on their smartphone. These records include:
- Weighing information (Gross Weight, Axle Weight)
- Date of the record
- Vehicle chassis number and plate number
- MAC address of the weighing device
- Smartphone location data (only saved if location is activated)
These records are saved solely on the smartphone and are not retrieved by MultitecInnovation.
MAC address verification:
The MAC address of the communication device for overload alerts is compared with the device register provided by MultitecInnovation.
However, MultitecInnovation does not have access to the affiliation information of these devices, be it data on the vehicle (chassis number and plate number), on the user company (vehicle owner and company), or on the smartphone connected to the device.
Data Sharing:
Records can be shared with contacts via email.
The contacts’ names and emails are added by the user and are not collected by MultitecInnovation.
Emails are sent from a generic email account owned by MultitecInnovation, which does not save sent emails or recipient addresses.
Data Sharing Policy:
