The AGILITY-LOG project (Operational Agility for Sustainable Logistics), led by LABBÉ by GRUAU, IRDL (Université Bretagne Sud), and Multitec Innovation, aims to transform urban logistics by combining environmental performance, operational flexibility, and cold chain management. The project seeks to develop a new generation of Large Volume Vans (LVVs) that are lighter, more aerodynamic, and capable of integrating connected multi-temperature transport solutions. This approach will help optimize last-mile delivery resources and address the rapidly evolving market demand for the transportation of dry, chilled, and frozen products.
As part of the AGILITY-LOG project, Multitec Innovation is developing a digital cold chain monitoring and certification platform, as well as insulated containers tailored to the challenges of urban logistics. The digital solution will ensure product traceability, temperature monitoring, and compliance with regulatory requirements. In parallel, the company is contributing to the design of autonomous insulated containers incorporating low-environmental-impact materials and technologies, with the objective of combining thermal performance, ATP compliance, lightweight design, durability, and recyclability.
The AGILITY-LOG project was selected under the Brittany Region’s 2024 call for projects, “Collaborative Innovation at the Crossroads of Industries.” It receives financial support from the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the Brittany Region, and Vitré Communauté. Alongside its partners LABBÉ by GRUAU and IRDL (Université Bretagne Sud), Multitec Innovation warmly thanks all these stakeholders for their trust and commitment to collaborative innovation, ecological transition, and regional economic development. Their support is essential to delivering practical solutions that address the sustainable logistics challenges of tomorrow.
